If you are qualified in Chinese medicine, meet the criteria of ATCM’S entry requirement, or graduated from an accredited College or university, ATCM welcome to join us. To join the ATCM and become a practice member, applicants are required to complete an application form, which is available from the ATCM office. Alternatively, you may download it from the links below. The completed form should be sent to the ACTM office; together with photocopies of relevant qualifications/diploma certificates and a non-refundable application fee of £60.
Upon receipt of the application, the Council will then advise on the date, time and place of an interview and an entry test, which all applicants are required to attend. Interviews will be taken by specially selected panel members of the ATCM, and will last approximately 45 minutes.
Successful completion of the interview will result in acceptance for membership of the ATCM. Members are required to pay a yearly membership fee of £150 (subject to changes); thereafter a certificate of membership will be issued by the ATCM council within two weeks. All practice members must be covered by professional and public liability insurance for practising Chinese medicine and acupuncture. For those who wish to obtain insurance, the cost will be based on the time of joining.
